About
womens-image is an independent feminist visual research platform focusing on the practices, circulation, and archival conditions of women photographers in Asia, continuously building research and narrative structures from a feminist perspective on images.
Initiated by Muki Pan, we work across databases, a biweekly publication, research writing, digital tools, and public programs to trace and organize the trajectories of women’s image practices within global exhibitions, publishing, institutions, and art historical narratives.
